With bittersweet emotions, we\u2019ll send him off with an epic<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/townhallseattle.org\/event\/town-music-the-final-cello-bration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Final Cello-bration<\/a> in The Great Hall on June 7 at 7:30pm<\/strong>. We can\u2019t wait to see what endeavors Joshua embarks on next \u2014 but before he does, we sat down for a quick Q&amp;A that spans everything from his favorite moment to his favorite Seattle sandwich spot.<\/p>\n<p><b>1. Favorite show?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Every show! But the Final Cello-bration will be the feather in my cap.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Favorite commission? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>I love them all \u2014\u00a0 it&#8217;s been amazing to see pieces go on to have a life that began at Town Hall.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Biggest regret?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Not capturing every single Town Music moment on HD video from the beginning.<\/p>\n<p><b>4. Moment of bliss?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Fratres with <i>all the cellos.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>5. Moment of panic?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Turning a page during the premiere of Gabriela Lena Frank&#8217;s solo sonata and seeing that an entire movement was missing.<\/p>\n<p><b>6. Artist you wish we\u2019d been able to present?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll never tell!<\/p>\n<p><b>7. Best after show meal spot? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Ba Bar on 12th Ave \u2014 consistently delicious, close to Town Hall, and open late.<\/p>\n<p><b>8. Favorite sandwich?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Market Grill (in Pike Place Market)! It\u2019s a Seattle gem with great views, and I love taking guest artists there for lunch.<\/p>\n<p><b>9. Thing you\u2019ll miss about Seattle? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Town Hall audience! Hopefully I&#8217;ll be back often enough not to miss y&#8217;all too much!<\/p>\n<p><b>10. Thing you\u2019ll miss about Town Hall Seattle?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The whole team. Town Hall is truly special, and there&#8217;s so much good energy with everyone there, including all of our supporters and audiences. I wish every audience listened with that much care and interest!
